Every three years the most prestigious congress for the European Society for Translation Studies (EST) is organized by a different European University. This year’s congress, held at the University of Aarhus in Denmark, addressed the moving boundaries of translation (studies) as regards disciplinary, methodological, conceptual, professional, and/or geographical aspects. Dr. Furmanek along with her colleague Dr. Sergiusz Baldyga OFM presented the paper Liturgical interpreting: canonical rigor and intended impact, as part of the panel “Mediators of the divine: Rethinking the concept of ‘interpreter’ in light of interpreting in religious contexts”
