ITS Students Provide Simultaneous Interpreting for Sino-America Trade Presentation
To help ITS students gain a deeper understanding of the terms and background knowledge in the business domain, Dr. Zhenqin Xiong, a reputable expert in Sino-America international trading studies, shared her insights and research in international trading with ITS students and faculties. Two 2nd-year ITS graduate students provided Chinese-English simultaneous interpreting for all attendees.
Presenter Profile:
Dr. Zhenqin Xiong is a full professor and the Associate Dean at the School of Economics and Management, Yichun University. Dr. Xiong holds a PhD in World Economics. She was a post-doctoral research fellow at Beijing Normal University from 2012-15. Dr. Xiong’s main research interests include world economics, cross-cultural management and financial translation. She is currently a visiting scholar at ITS at the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, Wake Forest University.
