ITS along with a number of other programs in the Graduate School have set up offices for faculty and staff at the historic Brookstown location in downtown Winston-Salem. In addition to offices we have classrooms, collaborative work areas and open study spaces, all for our graduate students to take full advantage of while just a few blocks from the vibrant 4th street area and Old Salem.

TAKING THE SHUTTLE:
Taking the Wake Line Shuttle to Brookstown is easy. It leaves outside the Benson Center at the Wake
Forest Road turn in. Look for the shuttle like the one in the image as there are a number of different shuttles using the same pick-up location. If you are not sure ask your driver.

From the Reynolda Campus: Leave the university campus using the University Parkway entrance/exit. Turn right and follow University Parkway all the way to Downtown Winston-Salem where University Parkway becomes Marshall St. After approximately 4 miles driving from campus you will cross over Business 40. Continue on Marshall St. down the hill to the first stop sign. Turn left onto Brookstown Ave. The Brookstown Mill complex (housing the Brookstown Inn and the Winston-Salem Visitors Center) will be on your right. The entrance is between the Meridian Restaurant and the Brookstown Inn. Turn right into the parking lot and proceed straight ahead to the next parking lot at the rear of the building. Parking is free and unrestricted.
Heading east on Business 40: Take exit 5C toward Cherry St/Downtown/Convention Center. Turn left onto High St. past the Hawthorne Inn and then right onto Marshall St. At the first stop sign turn left onto Brookstown Ave. The Brookstown Mill complex (housing the Brookstown Inn and the Winston-Salem Visitors Center) will be on your right. The entrance is between the Meridian Restaurant and the Brookstown Inn. Turn right into the parking lot and proceed straight ahead to the next parking lot at the rear of the building. Enter the building through the lobby under the exterior staircase and take the elevator to the 3rd floor. Turn left coming out of the elevator and follow the hallway to Suite 301.
Heading west on Business 40: Take exit 5C for Cherry St. Turn right onto Cherry St. then turn immediately left onto 1st St. Turn left at the 1st cross street onto Marshall St. Go past the next stop light and at the first stop sign turn left onto Brookstown Ave. The Brookstown Mill complex (housing the Brookstown Inn and the Winston-Salem Visitors Center) will be on your right.
