Zak Lancaster

Associate Professor

Dr. Zak Lancaster is an applied linguist whose research examines the language of stance and evaluation in academic discourse, particularly student writing. He earned his Ph.D. in English and Education from the University of Michigan, and is currently an Associate Editor of the Journal of English for Academic Purposes. His scholarship has appeared in Written Communication, College Composition and Communication, Journal of Writing Research, and Across the Disciplines.
