ITS Interpreted and Translated for Deeper Learning China

As an emerging and leading platform that introduces project-based learning to China, the Deeper Learning China (DLC) Center is committed to promoting innovative education in China. The Center was founded in 2019 with the support of prestigious educators Mr. Yongxin Zhu, Larry Rosenstock, and the High Tech High Graduate School of Education.

As a close collaborator of DLC, the ITS program provided interpreting and translation services for its annual conference held from December 11 to 19, 2021. ITS faculty Dr. Xijinyan Chen led a team of nine interpreters, including two ITS alumni Hongyu Lu and Mengmeng Shi, to interpret for the 67-hour panels and seminars. In addition to interpreting, two ITS alumni Kai Bi and Ma Lu, have translated various materials for the Center and the 2021 Conference. Tong Wu also moderated several sessions.

The interpreting and translation services provided by the ITS team are complimented as “incredible and flexible,” and the spirit and commitment were much appreciated by the speakers and participants.
